2026 Scholarship Winner — Kaiden Mullins
The Hoody Memorial is proud to announce Kaiden Mullins as the recipient of the 2026 Hoody Memorial Scholarship.
Kaiden is a 2026 graduate of Lakota West High School, where he earned a 4.24 cumulative GPA. This fall, he will attend the University of Cincinnati to study civil engineering, with the long-term goal of combining engineering, entrepreneurship and real estate development to improve the communities around him.
A four-year varsity wrestler, Kaiden was a conference champion, district qualifier and senior team captain. He also served on Lakota West’s Student Athletic Advisory Board, volunteered with the youth wrestling program and co-founded a window-washing business. Through these experiences, Kaiden has developed the leadership, discipline, accountability and grit that represent Corey’s legacy.
When asked what receiving the scholarship means to him, Kaiden shared:
“To me, the Hoody Memorial Scholarship is the strongest representation of a way of life. A life that I’ll be able to carry with me through anything that comes my way, knowing that whatever it is, it’s half of what Corey had to endure and push through. I take this scholarship with full appreciation, as it’s the greatest honor of the work I’ve put in and the relationships I’ve built around me.”
Please join us in congratulating Kaiden and welcoming him into the Hoody Memorial family!
